Detroit, 2003: a Lindy exchange that moved through some of the city's most distinctive spaces. Paul King & the Rhythm Society Orchestra filled the Fountain Ballroom at the Masonic Temple, and the Alma Smith Quartet played The Players Club. DJs kept the floor going in Lafayette Park by day and at Detroit Contemporary, an art gallery turned after-hours dance floor, by night. Swing-outs, Detroit style. Dancers from across the continent. Friendships were forged. Memories were made.

The original shirt was a badge, and plenty of dancers still own theirs: threads loose, fabric riddled with holes, kept anyway. Some things are too good to retire. Every hole is a dance, every loose thread a late night, and the shirt still says what it said in 2003: I was there. Now that the shirt is back, how will you wear the memory? Clean and crisp, or aged and well-loved?

Choose your look: the clean reprint, crisp and bright like opening night, or the aged version, worn in as if it's been through every dance since. Choose your fit: Bella+Canvas 3001C unisex jersey (4.2 oz, light and drapey), Gildan G500 unisex heavy cotton (5.3 oz, substantial), or Gildan G640L women's fitted (4.5 oz). All are 100% cotton with a tearaway label. The design goes on with DTF printing, which lays down rich, lasting color without stiffening the fabric underneath. Wash cold, inside out, tumble dry low, and skip the iron directly over the print.
